How to Join: Pick a High Mage who does not have an apprentice, and you may became said High Mage's apprentice. Otherwise, you may be assigned. Post this on our thread. If you join, and wish to add a fancy Izzet-signet clan-icon to your postbit, go to your UserCP, edit your details and tell it you're in the Izzet clan.
How to become a friend:
If you wish to be a friend, simply make a post (A reason would be nice too or you'll have to deal with an awful pun.) and you will be friendified.

But don't you think that was a bit premature? Shouldn't we have had the rest of the clan vote for thread-title? Even if this one is awesome.

Understandable. Patience isn't really an Izzet virtue. 
Edit: Did you send a mass-PM to the members, or just post this sign. If they get around to reading it, they were probably going to post, anyway.
